Verdict

A decent looking bumper to finish the card and we will side with the Paul Nichiolls trained Silver Jewel, with stable-mate Lunch Was My Idea and Cherry Generation the main rivals. The selection put in a promising display on his debut, at Wincanton earlier this month. He was very keen early on and the jockey had to restrain him. It was caused no doubt by inexperience and we think we will see a different horse this afternoon. Lunch Was My Idea is by a New Zealand sire out of Equity Law and should be noted in the market. Cherry Generation is trained by the flying doctor and put in a great effort first time out when a close up third behind Crashtown Leader at Uttoxeter. Best of the others could be the well bred Mr Quasimodo, but we expect vast improvement from Silver Jewel who is a confident choice.
