Verdict

The claimer, which overall is a weak contest, can go to Downtherefordancin ahead of Sigwells Club Boy. Despite there being a lot of speed on the dam¿s side of his pedigree, Downtherefordancin appears to stay two miles very well. That will be important today because Chepstow can get very testing when the rain gets into the ground. Anyway, the Martin Pipe-trained selection is streets ahead of the others in terms of official ratings and, all things being equal, seems to have a straightforward task. Sigwells Club Boy has recently been placed in a couple of sellers, and that rates as just about the best of the opposition¿s form. Kaiser and Katie Savage might prove best of the rest while Noble Philosopher is blinkered for the first time. Overall, though, it is hard to see past Tony McCoy and Downtherefordancin.
