Verdict

Kenyan won a Plumpton handicap over the minimum but couldn't handle a 7lb rise on quicker ground at Uttoxeter. He'll be having his first start over this trip while Broom Tip is making his handicap debut with a big weight and didn't convince when tackling this trip earlier in the year. CATCHER ON THE GO won a Ffos Las handicap in June and followed-up on the Flat there before a couple of moderate efforts back over timber. However, the latest was in a much better handicap than this and Conor Ring's claim can see him back in the winner's enclosure. Mixchievous finished runner-up in a tough Sandown handicap on heavy ground in February so further rain would aid his cause while Mondello would have a fine chance of finally losing his maiden tag if repeating his short-head defeat at Wincanton in January.
