Sixo was useful in bumpers and over hurdles and is taken to make a winning start to his chasing career ahead of Were In Touch and Sonnant. The selection showed his current well being with a creditable third behind Famous Grouse at Kempton on Boxing Day and, being by Roselier, is likely to improve for the switch to fences. The Paul Nicholls-trained Were In Touch is lightly raced but his trainer has wasted no time in putting the son of Old Vic over the larger obstacles and he was unfortunate not to make a winning start at Wincanton earlier this month. He rates a bigger threat than the Richard Phillips-trained General Duroc who should be suited by the ground but looks to have lost his way this term. Ashfield Orchestra showed improved form last time but needs to improve and a bigger threat is likely to come from Sonnant. Charlie Mann's gelding will be suited by the ground and has shown improved form of late but he needs to improve if he is to trouble Sixo, who should step up on previous form now that he goes chasing and is taken to make a winning debut.
