In depth

Verdict

Quantity undoubtedly outweighs quality in this but Straits Of Messina must have a decent chance having won at Fakenham three runs ago and finishing second off today's mark at Market Rasen last time. DELPHI MOUNTAIN is hardly consistent but took advantage of a drop in grade to land a lady riders' handicap under Lizzie Kelly at Huntingdon last week. Thomas Cheeseman's claim takes care of his penalty and this is within his capabilities if in the same mood. Crackerjack has gone close a couple of times at Taunton this season and should be in the firing-line again with Doncaster fourth Benefitofhindsight arguably best of the rest.
