In depth

Verdict

Charles Molson wasn't disgraced stepping up to this trip on the Polytrack last time and is weighted to reverse that running with Good Authority, who has a higher rating on Turf. Great Expectations is probably a couple of pounds too high but should be thereabouts again and is preferred to the increasingly unreliable Skytrain as well as Dubawi Fun and Monsea, who have shown little this year, but the vote goes to VERSE OF LOVE (NAP). He won at Chester off this mark on the last occasion he raced in this grade and would have scored at Leicester last week had he not missed the break.
