Verdict

Captain Chaos showed promise in his first season over fences but was let down by his jumping. Coo Star Sivola is a very useful hurdler and only five so could be a money-spinner if he takes to fences. Mr Mix won a small race at Worcester in May but is taking on much stronger opposition today under a penalty. Elegant Escape has won here over hurdles but MIA'S STORM could be the one with her mares allowance. She did need her first run last season but came good over hurdles after the turn of the year, though it is worth noting that four of her five career wins have come in the spring.
