    Verdict

Fontano has easily the best form of these, finding only one too good at Huntingdon and Newbury last month. But the overall form of his stable is a little disconcerting so we'll take a chance here on hurdling debutante VARKALA, who showed promise in bumpers earlier in the season and may have found the ground too testing when a little disappointing at Folkestone in January. Behindcloseddoors was well beaten either side of a close-up second at Wincanton but There And Then still has time on his side and takes a slight drop in class here.
