Verdict

Eddiemaurice is eased in grade and not without a chance on a track where he’s gone well in the past. Ardmayle won at Leicester in January but couldn’t cope with a 4lb rise in Southwell. Cesar Collonges didn’t stay a longer trip at Exeter in December but was back on song at Carlisle, though has gone up 4lb since. Delface is at his best over this trip and has every chance on the form book, despite a 4lb rise, but heavy going is a concern for Global Thrill, who has had a break. RUBY YEATS has been largely disappointing this season but she sports headgear for the first time here and was trying to give 6lb to a mare now rated 145 when second at Hereford just over a year ago. She’d be a shoe-in on that form and the drop back to 2m on heavy ground might suit.
