Verdict

Arguably the most competitive event of the night with the maximum field of 20 runners lining up and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Let's Party, who gets the verdict over Arabian Knight and Kenley Lass. The selection comes out top on official BHB ratings and is less expose than most of her rival shaving raced just seven times previously. Although disappointing last time, that was on a softer surface and, back on today's going (which she handled at Folkestone previously), Let's Party is taken to open her account. Arabian Knight, who has to give weight away all round, tackles seven furlongs for the first time having done most of his racing over the minimum trip and is not certain to stay. A bigger danger may be Kenley Lass, who races from the opposite end of the weights and has run well over this trip in the past. Mick Quinn's Landescent drops back in distance having failed to stay nine furlongs at Beverley last time and has to be respected on his best along with My Girl Pearl, who is closely matched with the selection on running behind Petandon Girl.
