Verdict

Course and distance winner McSnappy could be the answer here, with Hiers de Brouage and Gus des Bois possibly proving his biggest dangers. The selection races off the same mark as when scoring here in March which, to our eyes, makes him competitive again. Turning to the others, Hiers de Brouage is back to near a winning mark and cheekpieces are retained after a fair run in them last time; Gus des Bois has only recently returned to three miles and looks reasonably weighted, and Bangor winner Burwood Breeze looks to be improving. However, we'll side with course form and McSnappy.
