Verdict

A race made no easier by the number of runners and RED PERDITA looks the best option in a race where winning form is in notably short supply. George Baker's filly has struggled to add to her victory in a Wolverhampton seller and though her recent form at Brighton is ordinary, she did run better than her most recent effort suggests. Stone Roses showed signs of promise when fourth in a recent event at Thirsk and she could go close if the going remains on the faster side. Cape Spirit is related to winners over six furlongs though connections clearly see her as a prospect over further. Lady Hare makes a first appearance in a handicap having had four spins on Polytrack.
