In depth

Verdict

INNER CIRCLE is pretty obvious but does enjoy plenty of positives. The sole course and distance scorer in the line-up, he's gone consistently well on recent starts, striking up a good relationship with the promising Stefano Cherchi, whose 5lb claim is a major plus. The forecast soft ground is not an issue. Raffles Rebel is the possible fly in the ointment as he's shown ability on all starts, notably when a possibly unlucky third at Lingfield last month. Further progress is expected. Sir Roderic earns a mention off just 57, having achieved a mark in the high 90s in his pomp. Cliffs Of Freedom returns from an absence on a first start for David Evans - so watch the market.
