Verdict

DOMINATEUR finished well clear of the rest when second to Kateson in a maiden hurdle over track and trip on his return to action. The latter has subsequently won again so the form looks solid and Oliver Sherwood's charge gets the vote. Smiths Cross is another to consider on the back of a second in heavy going at Ffos Las while Peeping Tom made a decent start over timber with a placed effort at Uttoxeter. Secret Reprieve could go well on his hurdling bow with Storm Arising and Cavok both looking likely to improve.
