      Verdict

Guiding Light was progressive last year but has been off the track for the best part of 12 months and is giving away more than a stone to three-year-olds Irish Eclare and CATALAN (NAP). The former was third at Kempton last month but his form on turf has left plenty to be desired and Hughie Morrison's filly is preferred given she’s unexposed and probably needed the run when fifth at Musselburgh. Lyfka looks a better bet than stablemate Dutch Art Dealer and is also preferred to Hope Cove and course specialist Peak Storm.
