There may be more to come from Prince Of Thebes, who is forgiven his poor run from last time and is fancied to be good enough to go in off top weight in this company. Moonlight Man and Will He Wish are in good form at present and, along with the unexposed Raza Cab, are shortlisted as live dangers. Raza Cab won well at Newmarket last time and shapes as if he can pay his way again for his new owners now that he has got his act together. He was quite highly tried for Geoff Huffer last term but things have not gone to plan for him. He has switched yards twice since then and finds himself back in handicaps off his lowest mark to date. Watch the market with him. Will He Wish is consistent at this level and should again be capable of bold show. He too is well weighted but needs everything to drop just right for him. Moonlight Man ran a blinder at Sandown at the start of this month and will be in the thick of the action with a repeat does here. Nevertheless, he can be hard to predict and is not one to go overboard about in terms of reliability. Therefore, it can be worth chancing a small play with Prince Of Thebes, who is far less exposed than most of his rivals. A more patient ride from Martin Dwyer will help him settle this evening and, as his narrow defeat by subsequent Buckingham Palace Stakes winner Jedburgh suggests, Prince Of Thebes looks a handicapper to keep on the right side when he has conditions to suit.
