Verdict

TRAFFIC CONTROL can weave his way to victory at the main expense of Sergeant Harper and Bob Run. The selection has got some useful form in Irish point-to-points and he put in a really pleasing effort at Southwell last time when he went clear before eventually being collared by Minella Theatre. The front two came well clear of the rest of the field in that race so it was a sound effort, and with ground conditions to suit this unexposed 6-year-old can get his head in front. Sergeant Harper looks the main danger even though he did finish a well beaten second behind Kayf Aramis here last time. There is a slight doubt about his ability to really see out this trip at this stage in his career, so although he should run his race, we are happy to take him on today. Bob Run will be suited by this step-up in trip, although he has yet to race on anything other than fast ground. King Fontaine was backed as though defeat was out of the question last time but he struggled to get home on the heavy ground and he could be worth another chance today. However, Tom George has his string in flying form at present and Traffic Control can provide him with another winner.
