Verdict

Sackett doesn’t look particularly well handicapped on his reappearance but there are possibilities about Perfect Man and the lightly-raced maiden Jasmin Des Bordes will enjoy the going. Good And Hardy looks a similar type open to further progress but the vote goes to JUST A THOUGHT. Though 0-8 over timber, Rebecca Curtis’ mare has run some fine races in defeat and deserves a change of luck. She only weakened approaching the last over an inadequate trip here last month and Richard Johnson gets the leg up for the first time since the seven-year-old won a bumper at Hereford at the end of 2016. Dr Des and Duel At Dawn will likely be back over fences sooner rather than later.
