In depth

Formwatch

Armaturk (FR) Very consistent form in this country, has not beaten much but has won races with plenty in hand; one for the short list.

Fait Le Jojo (FR) Winner on the flat and over hurdles. Uninspiring form of late but doesn't act best on a soft surface; best watched today.

Jocko Glasses Ran on the flat in the summer. A winner over this distance. May have matured this year.

Major Lando (GER) Was disappointing when beaten fav last time at Newton Abbot. He has won three races since joining the Pipe team in May; cannot be ignored and first time blinkers.

Summer Break (IRE) Has been running on the flat over the summer. A winner over hurdles on soft ground; others preferred.

Rob Leach Won with plenty in hand at Plumpton most recently. If he handles the better ground today; must go close.

Majlis (IRE) Finished second behind Ice at Perth recently in a race where he did not have everything his way. Some placed form in good company last season; cannot be ignored

Castleshane (IRE) Was 6L beaten by Belle d'Anjou at Ascot on the flat. Has been campaigning all summer on the flat.

Belle d'Anjou (FR) Two back to back wins on the flat put him in good heart for today, a five time winner over hurdles in this country; must go close.

Under The Sand (IRE) Fourth behind Bilboa penultimate start but well beaten, disappointing when beaten fav at Kempton subsequently; may find others better on this surface.
