Go Green has shown enough in his last two starts on the flat and again over hurdles on Tuesday to suggest that he can win this and the David Evans-trained filly is taken to confirm Bath form with Tartiruga, with One Upmanship rated the best of the remainder. The selection was entitled to improve for his reappearance run behind Greenwich Meantime and has done so with decent efforts in defeat at Brighton and Bath in two subsequent runs on the level. The daughter of Environment Friend has the beating of both Tartiruga and Tafaahum on running at Bath and confirmed her current well being with a decent effort over timber at Ludlow earlier this week. The stable continues in good form and it is interesting that Jamie Spencer, who has ridden so many winners for the yard this season, takes the ride for the first time tonight. One Upmanship has been running consistently well on the all-weather of late and returns to the turf on a reasonable mark. He makes more appeal than Mark Brisbourne's Ben Hur, who may need another run or two to put him spot on. Keltic Rainbow has claims on her best but Go Green has an obvious chance in a poor race and gets the vote.
