Verdict

Sidbury Hill's second to Josses Hill at Ascot in the autumn is cracking form but he hasn't raced since. The well-bred Dashaway is proving a disappointment but Darloa had excuses on debut at Kempton and should strip fitter here. Trickaway won at Exeter on only his second start under Rules but has a penalty to carry and stablemate ROCK THE KASBAH could be more interesting. Four-year-olds have won the last two renewals and Philip Hobbs' charge makes more appeal than the yard's other runner, Handsome Horace, on breeding.
