Verdict

Ballyrath was a shock 66/1 winner at Wetherby following a lengthy absence. La Cavsa Nostra returns from an 813-day spell on the sidelines but did beat useful stayer Lord Du Mesnil when last seen and is potentially well treated. Al Roc had decent form in France but has never won in this country. Wayfinder is back on a winning mark and will appreciate this drop in grade, though possibly not the better ground, and there is no guarantee that fellow course winner Silver In Disguise will stay this far. Dr Kananga and Eceparti filled the places behind On Call over 3m here in the autumn but we’ll give a final chance to ASHFIELD PADDY, who was unluckily brought down at Ffos Las in December when holding every chance.
