In depth

Verdict

K Lightning was beaten less than a length at Ayr in April and then ran Kingaroo to a neck on the Fibresand at Southwell. Longer trips have brought about some improvement this year but he's gone up another 3lb in the weights. Korngold would have a cracking chance on past form but is very hard to win with and Descaro hasn't scored on the Flat since 2011, though has won three times over hurdles in that time. KOZMINA BAY won over 2m4f over timber at Ffos Las last month and will probably handle conditions better than most. She returns to the Flat on a decent mark and should take all the beating.
