Cogry is only 2lb higher than when winning this last year. Minella Rocco was second in the Gold Cup here in 2017 but things went slightly awry last year. Barry Geraghty rides but would not have been able to do the weight on For Good Measure, who is potentially well treated. Perth winner Swingbridge is still at the right end of the handicap and preferred to stablemate Rightdownthemiddle. Dell' Arca and Shantou Village were fourth and fifth in the Kerry National and the latter had earlier beaten Above Board at Worcester. Calett Mad won on this card last year but he didn’t impress back over fences at Market Rasen whereas Laurium won at Warwick last month to end a barren spell, though has been raised 7lb. DOING FINE failed to win last season but goes well fresh and was third in this contest12 months ago.
