In depth

Verdict

Delta Work and Galvin finished 1-2 off level weights at The Festival in March and were a long way clear of the reminder. Back On The Lash, who won this two years ago and was successful again over track and trip in January, was pulled up, as was Foxy Jacks, and Francky Du Berlais was beaten when refusing at the last so all of the latter trio will need to do better if they are to turn the tables. LATENIGHTPASS, a prolific pointer who has run well several times in the Foxhunters’ at Aintree, could take to these obstacles like a duck to water and is potentially well treated on a mark of 137. Musical Slave could also go well if his jumping holds up while Diesel D'Allier won around here in 2021.
