Previous results

In depth

Formwatch

Eau de Cologne Beaten 0.75L by Celibate on seasonal debut, scored two goods wins last season , but is worse off at the weights now.

Celibate (IRE) Winner on seasonal debut, reversing form with Eau de Cologne at Ascot last season over a shorter trip; may have too much to do at these weights.

Foly Pleasant (FR) Beat King of Sparta on seasonal debut when stepped up in trip, has got to find more today but likely to have come on for that run and yard in form.

Robbo A bit of an in and out performer, won on the flat recently. 23L beaten in this race last year.

Satchmo (IRE) Beat Foly Pleasant last season over this trip, seems to have lost his way a bit since; a return to form would produce a good run.

Bindaree (IRE) Three nice wins last season, has not shifted much in the weights. Making his seasonal debut and may be better for it.

Samakaan (IRE) Best form two seasons ago, only ran twice last season without success; needs to rekindle enthusiasm to take a hand here.

Shooting Light (IRE) Impressive C&D winner last time for new trainer and much improved performance; must be the one to beat.

Exit Swinger (FR) Was second in this race last year, looks to struggle with the run in. Did not show enough last year to be optimistic about today.

Korakor (FR) Was well beaten by Shooting Light C&D last time, similar story looks likely even on revised terms.

Cadougold (FR) Tough, consistent sort who can handle any ground. On jockey bookings not the preferred runner.

A Piece of Cake (IRE) Well beaten on his seasonal debut behind Banker Count, looks likely to find others better today.

Stan's Your Man Easy winner at Kelso on Wednesday, has not yet been penalised for this. Lightly treated since return from injury; good each way chances.

Dorans Gold Out of the Handicap, but in fine form lately beating Royal Predica penultimate start; place chances
