Verdict

Mr Mole is better than he showed when favourite for a Listed handicap at Sandown last month and is a leading contender in this under Harry Derham. Changing The Guard has returned from a break in good form and is another to consider after his fourth at Aintree but Solaras Exhibition might be worth opposing in this grade and the likes of Quinsman, Sud Pacifique and Nampour have been off the track for a while. ULTIMATE doesn't win often nowadays but then handicapper has certainly given him a chance to end his losing sequence here and his stable have been among the winners lately - he gets the nod after a fair effort over further at Haydock last time.
