Verdict

Rons Dream was entered the staying handicap on yesterday’s card here but runs against her own sex instead over a shorter trip. She’s been a good servant to connections but would have preferred a much softer surface. MOMELLA (NAP) ran a cracker behind subsequent winner On The Blind Side in a Grade 2 novice event here last month and an earlier win at Fakenham is working out surprisingly well. She beat Brillare Momento, who has also won this term, at Newton Abbot back in May and, though 7lb worse off, can confirm the placings. Lamanver Odyssey won a competitive handicap at Wincanton on her reappearance and should go well but this is a big step up for Lady Karina. Recent winners Graceful Legend and Molly Childers also have more on their plate here.
