Verdict

Billyvoddan, Ross River, Too Forward and Bannow Strand are a handful against the field in another tough race to call for punters and the vote is given to Billyvoddan. The selection won well last time out when beating Reveillez. That form looks rock solid and in an open affair he looks the value bet. Ross River rates the main danger on his second behind What A Native. However his best form is on a slightly faster surface and for that reason he is opposed. Too Forward appeared not to stay over a longer trip behind A Glass In Thyme last time out. The return to this distance will suit, and with this faster ground also in his favour he should run a big race. Bannow Strand would have been much shorter in the betting here but for disappointing last time. However, if he ran up to his best he is another that would not be far away. Of the remainder Redemption is on a handy mark but continues to have problems with his jumping while Graphic Approach looks to be suited by a flatter track. With Nicholls and Walsh in good form, the hat-trick seeking Napolitain has to be respected, but for the winner we return to the bold jumping Billyvoddan who looks to have everything in his favour.
