In depth

Verdict

Doddiethegreat has a perfect record in bumper and hurdle races but this is by far his toughest task to date starting off in handicaps on a mark of 131. Panjari is also making his handicap debut while Go Dante caught the eye when sixth in the ultra-competitive Greatwood here on his reappearance. Scottish raider GINGER MAIL also ran a cracker on his return to action under a big weight at Ayr. The first and third have both franked the form and a visor replaces the usual cheekpieces today. Kaleb has been knocking on the door already this season with Donnacha going close on the Old Course here four weeks ago after getting off the mark at Chepstow. Mr Mackay is held on that run but Williethebuilder is interesting as he wasn’t disgraced in a Grade 2 novice event here at the end of October.
