Verdict

Psycho has been the talk of the town for some time and appears to be improving at a rate of knots; he can walk the talk in the finale. Tony Martin often has the bookies running for cover and he looks to have unearthed another gem in this son of Dr Massini. He won on his handicap debut after three quiet runs in maidens but really came to attention with victory at Leopardstown in January. He would have followed up despite the handicapper's attentions but for taking a crashing fall with the race at his mercy. That fall has to be a concern here whilst the handicapper has dealt out another hefty rise but he can only be guessing and he should be supported if the money continues to pour on. Larkwing has taken well to hurdling and should give a good account of himself but he looks to have enough weight given that the first four home last year were all on the ten stone mark. I'msingingtheblues has run a couple of decent races here and has more to offer but he was below par last time. Wanango is very interesting but he has to prove that he's still as good over hurdles as he is over fences; the market may provide the answer to that particular question. This test may well bring out the best in King's Revenge and Rio De Janeiro whilst Mon Michel, Mohayer, Palomar and Roman Villa all rate a mention but Psycho has looked to be an exciting prospect of late and is taken to land the finale.
