Redemption caused something of a surprise when landing Wetherby's West Yorkshire Hurdle last month but he faces an even bigger task giving weight away to most of his rivals in a competitive handicap today and a safer bet looks to be Star De Mohaison with Nobody Tells Me rated the main danger. The selection showed progressive form over fences as a novice last season and may well be worth following when returned to the larger obstacles again this term but Paul Nicholls has seemingly spotted an opening back over hurdles off what seems a very favourable mark and he is taken to make the most of it. Alan King's His Nibs is entitled to improve for his recent reappearance run at Chepstow but needs to if he is to trouble the judge, while David Pipe's Quick is pretty exposed now. Karanja is entitled to need the run on his return and a bigger threat is likely to come from David Pipe's Nobody Tells Me, who makes his debut in this grade off what appears a fair mark. Star De Mohaison is undoubtedly well treated for his return to hurdling though and he gets the vote.
