Verdict

Solomon Grey seeks back-to-back victories in this but hasn’t been quite at his best so far this year. Paloma Blue, on the other hand, has been in cracking form between the flags and has won four times under Rules. Not That Fuisse ran well in the Foxhunters’ at Aintree but Magic Saint was disappointing in that contest having impressed earlier at Wincanton. FIX AT ALL also carries a small penalty but he’s looked a reformed character at Ludlow lately partnered by today’s 7lb claimer. Count Simon could also figure having won three points this year, though he was well beaten in a hunter chase at Newbury in March.
