In depth

Verdict

Newtide was pulled up when last seen at Ascot in February of last year but his chase form prior to that run gives him strong claims in a race like this. However, DESTINEE ROYALE (NAP) has already shown she goes well fresh and Venetia Williams’ mare has more options now she’s proved her stamina. Captain Tommy won off a higher mark last May and often runs well while The Wolf will strip fitter for his run at Doncaster. Eclair Surf should also be coming to hand along with Full Back with the novice Undersupervision, already placed twice around here, another to consider.
