Verdict

It took Classic Star 15 attempts to open his account and he’s been raised 7lb for winning over track and trip with PHOENIX STAR behind. But the latter has since finished runner-up back here when ahead of Poeta Brasileiro with Bint Dandy well beaten and Stuart Williams’ charge is fancied to come out best in this lower grade contest. Deeds Not Words landed a double over 6f here earlier in the month and True Belief has also been running well over the same trip. Kraka and Watheer have been thereabouts recently and Gottardo wasn’t beaten that far when only fifth at Lingfield last time.
