        KATHERINE PLACE has gone close the last twice now. This looks easier than when beaten a neck at Chepstow last week and Bill Turner’s mare looks worth another chance. Tilsworth Rose beat Precious Plum in a classified event here last time with Hurricane Alert further behind while Kelinda Dice finished in front of Swell Song when runner-up at Yarmouth. Cable Guy is the least exposed and may be capable of better.
