Tomshalfbrother is slowly slipping down the weights and has the pace to get involved in a race like this, though collateral form suggests he might struggle to better Kingi Compton who was second over course and distance in August. SYLVIA’S MOTHER showed admirable tenacity to battle back and score at Catterick on Saturday. It is probably a wise move to run her under a penalty and she will have no problem dropping back to 5f on her favourite surface.
