      Verdict

      LAMAR returned the impressive winner of a conditions event at Lingfield a week ago when beating Captain Cat, rated 107, three lengths. James Tate's mare is still improving on that evidence and looks the one to beat in this. Secret Hint and Maggie Pink had fallen victim to the selection back in November while Spicy Jam is penalised for her earlier wins in Listed company in Italy. Volunteer Point won here last month and usually runs his race but the unexposed Godolphin filly My Call may prove the main danger as she steps up in distance after scoring over 6f at Wolverhampton.
