In depth

Verdict

Storm Runner has won seven times on the all-weather but never on Turf. He's also never won beyond a mile but recent runs suggest he should be suited and this is a moderate contest. Weld Arab scored over slightly further at Kempton in March before failing to last out over 1m4f. He'll be suited by dropping back in trip and Simon Walker's presence is a plus. Celtic Artisan didn't enjoy the soft ground at Newcastle after a much better effort at Wolverhampton but it's NORWEGIAN REWARD (NAP), who has returned in good form after a long break and has dropped to a very winnable mark, who gets the vote as Candesta is still a maiden after 16 starts.
