In depth

Verdict

CARTWRIGHT has the profile of a typical Sir Mark Prescott improver and is taken to land the hat-trick stepping up in trip like the rest of these. Unsuspected Girl was a winner without a penalty at Kempton last time but just missed out when beaten a short-head while Press Gang posted his best effort so far when third over 1m4f at Leicester and is preferred to Wolverhampton runner-up Saga Sprint, who was still beaten six lengths. Cold Fusion has looked high enough in the weights since winning at Newmarket in July.
