Fujin won here in January and completed a double at Lingfield a few days later but is now 8lb higher. ARTSCAPE came here for his debut in September and ran well for a long way over a mile. He went to Kempton last month and showed that 6f is his trip when getting up close home and can make a successful handicap debut. Fredricka, five times a winner on Turf, has yet to score on all artificial surface and has done most of her racing on Tapeta at Newcastle. Bertie Blu Boy has a tremendous all-weather record and has won from higher marks though he seems more of a Lingfield specialist, a remark that also applies to Fleckerl, who doesn't have a very good record here.
