CLOCK ON TOM can be forgiven a poor effort in an amateurs' race on the Fibresand at Southwell on Tuesday. He'd been in fine form before that rattling-up a four-timer that included wins over hurdles as well as a course and distance success and looks worth another chance. Celtic Artisan has been thereabouts at Wolverhampton of late and Oakley Star went close at Lingfield off a similar mark back in October. Star Links has tumbled down the weights but was due to run at Kempton yesterday evening.
