    Verdict

Captain Pugwash has won three of his four previous starts around here but returns from a break. Rubensian also lacks a recent run while Epitaph is better on Fibresand. PINK PHANTOM made a winning debut in handicaps over course and distance in September. She’s been beaten twice since off this mark but was hampered at Lingfield last week and makes a significantly quick reappearance. The Eagle's Nest could be the danger as he travelled strongly for a long way over 1m3f at Kempton four weeks ago and will be suited by this slight drop in distance. Monoxide and Miss Blondell are both unexposed with Wolverhampton runner-up Footsteps Forever possibly the pick of the remainder as Global Art looks a few pounds too high now.
