Verdict

Rotherhithe easily won a Leicester seller in August and has changed yards. He’s probably better than a plater and can go well. SPRING ROMANCE (NAP) won four times at the beginning of last year and was returning from a long break when a close fourth over the minimum at Lingfield last month. Well supported that day, he’ll be better over the extra furlong here and compensation awaits. Ballyquin landed a Lingfield maiden in January but couldn’t quite go the pace on his handicap debut back there last month though wasn’t beaten far. Enthaar has been in the lead at this trip in two recent races over 7f so looks certain to get into contention.
