Verdict

SOLID STONE (NAP) won over course and distance before finding one too good dropped back to a mile for the valuable Balmoral Handicap at Ascot. Sir Michael Stoute’s charge gets the vote on that form. Dawaam may find a bit more upped in trip today and is preferred to the more-exposed The Gill Brothers, who also attempts today’s distance for the first time along with Visinari. What's The Story needs to step up on recent efforts, though is now back on a winning mark, and Assimilation has plenty to find with the selection.
