In depth

Verdict

Borough Boy is upped 5lb for winning at Southwell a fortnight ago and tends to save his best for that track nowadays. Red Invader beat Roy's Legacy at Lingfield in March and the latter had earlier won here when ahead of Frank The Barber, who was due to run at Bath yesterday, and Mighty Zip. PICANSORT has been thereabouts since winning at Lingfield in December and he gets the nod effectively racing off a lower mark if the 3lb allowance of Hector Crouch is taken into account.
