    In depth

    Verdict

Phoenix Lady began with a fair effort at Wetherby but has been well beaten since while winning bumper Sparkling Hand finished a long way behind on her hurdling debut at Newcastle. Bollin Tahini has been showing promise in bumpers and makes her debut over timber in a race that shouldn't take much winning. Allbarkanobite gained a shock success over 2m1f at Hexham last month and didn't appear to last out an extra half-mile on the same track a fortnight ago. This looks her trip and she should go well but D'GIGI has been making steady headway and can take this as there was plenty to like about her victory at Musselburgh which was gained despite failing to settle for much of the race.
