In depth

Verdict

ZEFOOHA was raised 12lb for an easy success at Hexham and though subsequently beaten over the same C&D she didn't enjoy the testing conditions and this should ground be more to her liking. Brian Toomey, who won this race last year, is one of the more experienced riders and can complete the double on Tim Walford's mare. Arisea is up 7lb for her comfortable success at Carlisle but her jockey's claim will be a help and she should be in the firing-line. Kayf Commander is now on his highest ever mark after a hard-fought victory at Sedgefield though he should still be competitive but Aggravation has yet to prove he stays this far.
