Verdict

Flower Power was carrying a 6lb penalty for an earlier victory over 1m4f here when just getting up to beat Betancourt a short-head over the track and trip. The latter is just 1lb better off and has since run poorly on softer ground on the track so the winner can conform the places. Dew Pond is a course and distance winner and is 10lb lower though that was back in 2016. Helioblu Bareliere has never won nor proved himself over a trip this far but the three-year-old ALEXIS CARRINGTON, another maiden, looked a natural stayer when tackling this trip at Chelmsford and running on strongly. She can improve enough to take this as Donnachies Girl is another who hasn't proved herself over the distance despite starting out in bumpers.
