Verdict

CORNERSTONE LAD (NAP) was in excellent form over hurdles last winter and reverted to the Flat with a neck defeat on heavy going at Carlisle in May. He has an absence to overcome but should be ready and will take some beating. Tor is on a long losing run but won't mind the conditions and looks well treated if back to form while Miss Ranger stayed on strongly when scoring over 1m6f here 10 days ago and the longer trip won't be a problem. Kensington Art won by 16 lengths over 1m6f here then completed a double at Chelmsord. He hasn't performed badly in better company from his new mark so looks a threat.
